Captain Falcon looked very impressive in his trailer and we can see that he’s retained his physical power and speed. There aren’t many drivers who can match up to the Captain in a fight. Link’s Light Arrows give him a critical advantage in this round since Captain Falcon excels in close range fighting. It will be difficult for him to dodge the Light Arrows for long and he’ll eventually have to take a loss. Link wins.

Robin (Fire Emblem) vs Link

Robin (Fire Emblem) may have a lot of spells at the ready, but they won’t help him against the Hero of Time! Link has his traditional Light Arrows and his Master Sword. Those two weapons are typically enough to deal with any threat. Robin is no match for Link in swordplay and the Light Arrows would be able to penetrate any defense that Robin could muster up. This is why Link is known to be one of the deadliest swordsmen around. Link wins.

Link vs Lucina

Link and Lucina are both experienced swordfighters so this would be a tricky battle. Lucina seems to be a lot quicker than the Hero of Time, but Link has many weapons at his disposal. Even if this was just a plain ole swordfight, I would have to take Link in the end. His Master Sword has quite a few powerful swings at his side and his Light Arrows can fend Lucina off if her blade is starting to overwhelm Link. Link has a defense for all of Lucina’s moves, so he can hold out until he wins. Link wins.

Hange vs Link

Link is the Hero of Time and it was great to see how he would fare in anime world thanks to the new Super Smash Bros trailer. Hange may have her swords, but she is no expert and Link would win in a matter of seconds. Her gear that allows Hange to go from building to building won’t faze Link and his Light Arrows. Link wins.

Hunter (Halo) vs Link

This would be a pretty good match. The Hunter is essentially a much weaker version of Samus, but he’s still deadly in combat. One good energy blast would be enough to deal a whole lot of damage to Link. Link will need to perform perfectly with his shield and his Light Arrows will provide him with some cover. It’ll be a tough battle, but Link’s tactical mind and array of weapons should help him secure a victory. Link wins.

Gemini Saga vs Link

Link has his Master Sword at the ready and it could be debated that he could pierce Gemini Saga’s armor with it. That would be a good debate, but it doesn’t matter all that much in the long run. Link would not be able to keep up with Saga’s speed and the energy blasts would eventually cut though Link’s shields. No matter how I look at it; Gemini Saga has the significant edge in this battle. Gemini Saga wins.

The Colossal Titan is back, but he’s up against the Hero of Time! Link has dealt with all kinds of enemies and he has essentially become the perfect warrior. His Light Arrows will quickly deal a lot of damage to the Titan and then Link can finish things off with his Master Sword. A quick two and out for this powerful Titan, but he will be back very soon! Link wins.

Lucario vs Link

Lucario is about to Counter Link'
Link is a master swordsman, but this is one match that he won’t be winning. Lucario has a good degree of super speed at his disposal and Link just won’t be able to land his hits. Lucario doesn’t sacrifice power for this advantage so it’ll only take him a few moves to win. Link is completely at a disadvantage in this match and I don’t see how he can even hope to win. Lucario wins.

Peach vs Link

Peach is a pretty skilled princess and she has proven that she can give Bowser a good fight thanks to Smash Bros. That being said, Link is a master swordsman and he won’t be losing this round. His abilities are much greater than you may suspect and he has a lot of weapons in his arsenal. Defeating him is almost impossible! Link wins.

Firestar is a cat that has some pretty good skills and he also possesses 9 lives. Of course Firestar could have 100 lives and it wouldn’t be enough to take down a seasoned warrior like Link. Link has his light arrows and his bombs will also pack a punch. Firestar drops down the ranks with this loss. Link wins.
