Bionic Bunny is back, but now he’s up against the legendary plumber! Mario may not look all that impressive from afar, but he’s actually quite skilled in close quarters combat. His punishing attacks would deal a lot of damage to Bionic Bunny and he can also engage in an aerial battle thanks to his flying form from Galaxy. Bionic Bunny has a lot of power as well, but he’s not quick enough to get in Mario’s way. Mario wins.

Bonetail vs Mario

Bonetail may be a powerful creature, but this is Mario that we’re talking about so Bonetail is out of luck. The plumber is always ready with a hammer and his trusty cap. Mario has many forms including his Tanooki suit, which will allow him to fly out of harm’s way and then come back for the win. Bonetail loses his blog debut match, but I’m sure that he’ll be back. Mario wins.

Rawk Hawk vs Mario

Rawk Hawk is a pretty tough guy and he was the champion of a certain fighting arena for a very long time. That being said, Mario knows a thing or two about fighting battles as well and he’s made a name for himself at the Smash Bros arena. Rawk Hawk may have a lot of physical power, but Mario can shoot giant fireballs while staying far away. Mario’s also a lot quicker than Rawk Hawk. Mario wins.

Hammer Bro vs Mario

The legendary Hammer Bro makes his debut on the blog and he can definitely be a tough opponent. The Hammer Bros appear in many Mario games and they are typically some of the tougher guys around since dodging their hammer can take a whole lot of skill. Luckily, Mario has his own hammer, which should even the playing field. Mario has a lot of other power ups that will allow him to take the lead. Mario wins.

Mario vs Ike

Mario Ike
Mario is a pretty strong fighter and he’s had many more power ups than Ike over the years. That being said, I have to say that Ike has the edge in this fight. His sword swings would be able to damage Mario, star power or not. Mario is quick, but he doesn’t have any speed feats that would place a big gap between them and Ike’s attacks are simply deadlier. He can block Mario’s attacks and land the critical blow. Ike wins.

Palutena vs Mario

Mario is a tough guy and some would argue that he is the strongest Nintendo fighter. I may not deny this most of the time, but when the going gets tough…I’m pretty sure that Palutena would quickly take the win. She can fire large energy blasts and she seems to be faster than Mario. Having the natural ability of flight is also a positive thing for Palutena and I just don’t see Mario being able to stop her. Palutena has too many abilities and most of them can be lethal to this plumber. Palutena wins.

Mario is a pretty powerful plumber and there are many who would say that he could take down Sonic. I can’t say that I’m one of them, but I can say that Mario would certainly give it his all against Metal Sonic. Unfortunately for Nintendo’s mascot, Metal Sonic is just too powerful at this point. His speed once surpassed that of Sonic’s and he can even make a barrier to block Mario’s fireballs. Metal Sonic wins.

Tuxedo Mask vs Mario

Tuxedo Mask is pretty popular in the Sailor Moon universe, but he got the shaft when it came to power ups. He’s still basically a human when it boils down to it and Mario is a plumber. Plumbers can beat humans so long as they have Power Stars at the ready. Mario’s super punch should be able to knock Tuxedo Mask down for the count. Mario wins.

Mario vs Orne

Orne is a very scary fighter and those skulls can creep out even the toughest of heroes. Mario is going to need to use all of the battle experience that he has attained up til now if he wants to win this round. Luckily, that’s a whole lot of experience and Mario would be able to take this match. Just give him a cape and his fireballs…and we’re in for an epic fight! Mario wins.

Magneton vs Mario

I’m afraid that not even the mighty plumber can defeat Magneton. Magneton has a lot of thunder techniques at his disposal and Mario’s cape won’t be able to deflect these attacks for long. Magneton also has a solid speed advantage that works in his favor. Mario has many power ups of his own, but none of them give him the speed that he needs to turn things around. It doesn’t help that Magneton has a huge array of attacks to choose from. Magneton wins.
