Bowser Jr vs Bowser

Bowser Jr makes his debut on the blog with this round and while he may be a pretty tough customer, he’s not quite ready to take on Bowser. Bowser has his Giga Bowser mode where all of his attacks are amped up considerably. There’s no way that Bowser Jr can hope to match that…not even with his Shadow Mario form. Bowser wins.

Kumonga vs Ebirah

This is a bit of a tricky match since none of these guys are top tier Godzilla fighters. That being said, I would give the edge to Ebirah. That’s a decently controversial move, but Ebirah can really do some damage with his pincers. Kumonga’s arms aren’t enough to counter that and he’s in no position to dodge Ebirah’s strikes. Only his web would have helped and it won’t slow Ebirah down. Ebirah wins.

Controller X vs Shinichi Ozaki

Shinichi Ozaki was the main character of Godzilla Final Wars and he’s pretty powerful. By the end of the film, Shinichi can block energy blasts with one hand and he can fight with frightening speed. Controller X has these super abilities as well, but it’s to a lesser extent and he’s just outmatched here. Shinichi’s final few minutes were enough for him to turn this whole fight around. Shinichi Ozaki wins.

King Caesar vs Kumonga

This is a battle of two powerful Kaiju, but I’m afraid that Kumonga is just a little outmatched here. He can’t try to grab or throw King Caesar since he’s not much of a hand to hand fighter and King Caesar should be able to weave his way through Kumonga’s tangled webs. I don’t want to underestimate the fearless spider…but I just don’t see him winning here. King Caesar wins.

Douglas Gordon is a man who has been through many dangerous situations and never faltered. He can fight with the best of them even when he’s not in his prime. Samon is very old and we’ve never known what he was like when he was younger. I’m sure that he was tough as well, but he’s more like your average joe than a martial artist. I don’t see him winning here. Douglas Gordon wins.

Water Horse vs Pac Man

The Water Horse is a strong creature, but he’s simply outmatched against Pac Man. Pac Man is pretty good at eating anything that gets in his way and his super form has been known to take out multiple ghosts at once. The Water Horse simply isn’t fast enough to stop Pac Man and his defense isn’t good enough to withstand such an attack. Pac Man wins.

Chouun Shiryuu vs Aguja

Aguja isn’t your average obscure fighter. She has super strength, barriers, and she can fire energy blasts. Chouun Shiryuu is from Ikki Tousen, which isn’t a high tier series so I thought that this could actually be a win for Aguja. That was not to be the case! Chouun Shiryuu has a good degree of super speed and she has enough super strength to launch someone through a grave stone a considerable distance away with a casual kick. She is equipped with a sword even if she may not need it here. Chouun Shiryuu wins.

I admire Danny Phantom’s determination, but it won’t be enough for him to get past Dan and Drago. These two have fought many powerful opponents and they have saved the world more times than I can count. Their experience is really off the charts at this point and their power levels are considerable. A few good fire blasts should distract Danny Phantom long enough for one of Dan’s other monsters to win the day. Dan wins.

Ash vs Lan

It’s time for two of the strongest toyetic main characters to square off in this round. Ash has a lot of Pokemon at his disposal, but Lan has Megaman with him. It’s a serious battle of quality vs quantity and the former wins out this time. Megaman could keep up with opponents at a Super Saiyan level so stopping Pikachu is certainly within his abilities. This match won’t go very smoothly for Ash and he’ll actually have to take a loss here. Lan wins.

Fred Flintstone vs Fred

Fred Flintstone is technically superior to Fred in physical strength since he can easily lift his club as he swings it around, but he’s not a great fighter. He’s not used to having to deal with an opponent to can fight back. Fred is a natural leader and he knows a thing or two about fighting. I see him winning this round with his agility and determination. Fred wins.
