I have finally maxed out all of the Sinnoh Pokemon to level 40!! Less gooooooo. In the meantime I also caught the two new legendaries and maxed out Bisharp so I’m getting closer to having powered up all of the Pokemon to level 40, next up is Unova where I’m missing about 4 of them so far. Will see how long it takes for the next update
I didn’t think I’d be doing another update this quickly but the latest event happened to have two of the Pokemon I was missing so that worked out really well. I finally caught my first Diancie and as a result got Mega Diancie. I also rounded up the last Zangoose I needed and my first Mega Alakazam so now I got the Gold Mega Evolution badge! One more step to ranking up all of the badges, but I’ve still got a whiles to go on that.
I finally got my next Platinum badge! Yeah this feels like a pretty quick update next to the last one but that’s more coincidence than anything else. These badges happened to be close together. Now I can finally stop mega evolving whenever I have the energy stored up. In the meantime I finished powering up Lunala and Ninjask.
Next up I’m focusing on Spiritomb who is the last Sinnoh Pokemon that I haven’t maxed out. That will likely be my next Pokemon Go update although I don’t see that happening for at least a month or two.
I finally got my next gold badge! Purifying 500 Pokemon definitely took a while and cost a ton of stardust (Over 1 million) but it was definitely worth it to get closer to all Platinums. I need to purify another 500 so that’s going to take an extremely long time but I’ll have finished doing that at some point. In the meantime I maxed out several more Pokemon. Just one more for Sinnoh (Spiritomb) and then you can expect another Pokemon Go update coming up. Gotta keep catching them all!
I’ve finally got the final Hoenn Pokemon! Probably will be a few years or so until I complete the next region but definitely ready to see how that goes. The adventure’s always continuing after all!
Feels like it’s pretty recent since my last Pokemon Go update but this summer has been solid for accomplishing! Got my next Platinum medal for beating 2000 Team Rocket members! Now I’m up to 39 Platinum Medals, still 27 to go so it’ll still take forever to get them all to Platinum but each one always feels like a good accomplishment. Not sure which one will be next, maybe Mega Evolving 1500-2500 Pokemon.

I finally got Corsola to Level 40 so I have now finished getting every Pokemon in Johto completed to my goal! That makes 2 regions down and still quite a few to go. A pretty good milestone I’ve gotta say! The Pokemon remaining for the other regions are:

Sinnoh: 22
Unova: 28
Kalos: 13
Aloha: 27
Galar: 7
Hisui: 3
So I might complete Hisui next but of course for that region as well as Galar they are still releasing Pokemon so that number may go up before it goes down!
Thanks to the Axew event today I finally got the Platinum Dragon medal! With this I now have the medals for all Pokemon Types! One step closer to having platinums on everything. The current tally is now:

It took 6 years since the game released but at last I have reached Level 50! As of now there are no more levels so I have made it to the endpoint of the game. It’s been quite the journey to get there.
So lets look at some key stats in my journey to Level 50.
I’ve walked 13,677.8KM
I’ve caught 155,256 Pokemon
I’ve visited 159,129 Pokestops
My total XP is 181, 312, 340
My Pokedex is 762 Seen and 754 Caught.
Now with that completed, I focus on my main goal once more which is to get one of every Pokemon evolution line to Level 40. I’ve already completed Kanto and am close on Johto. This one’ll take a while and I’ll probably slow down a bit now that I’m level 50 but I’ll keep the updates coming for when I have gotten more Pokemon powered up.
It took about 7-8 months but I have now made it to Level 49! That means just one more level up and I will have made it all the way. It’s kind of emotional to think about but I can nearly say that I have completed the game. Not that it ends there or anything but I’ll definitely take a long break from the mass evolution runs for a while until they announce more levels. This has definitely been an app game that has withstood the test of time.
