Light vs Brook

Brook
I always thought that Light was a pretty awesome villain. Sure, he was little insane with his whole idea that he was still a hero delivering justice, but he was brilliant and had some great schemes. Unfortunately for Light, being likable is definitely not enough if you want to win fights. Brook is essentially Light’s opposite in many ways, but he is a much more powerful fighter. A few swordstrikes is all that he will need to win this round. Brook wins.

King Caesar vs Meta Knight

Aw man! This is what I call a stomp, but not literally. I’m afraid that King Caesar will not be able to lay a claw on the massively overpowered swordsman. He was so good that he was even banned in one of the Super Smash games at one point. His great speed and array of solid close combat options will let him counter anything that the King can throw his way. He’s also got the Halberd of course, which packs a punch. A human sized opponent could have time to get on board or dodge, but that’s not an option for a Kaiju. Meta Knight wins.

Akame vs Bass

Akame may have won her first match, but as per blog tradition, Bass must now give her a loss. There are very few fighters who can give Bass a good fight. While Akame is a very strong individual, she wouldn’t last a second against a being with the unlimited power that Bass possesses. Bass has the edge in speed and he could take out the planet in an instant, which would end the match. Bass wins.

Akame vs Megatron

It’s interesting how Akame entered the blog after Esdeath. I suppose that this kind of thing has to happen once in a while. Either way, Megatron is in for another world of hurt as Akame’s skills far surpass those of Esdeath. Akame’s speed is legendary and her attack power is lethal. A single slice would cleanly cut Megatron in two and he will have lost before the match could truly begin. Akame is one of the stronger main heroines out there and this may just be the beginning of her blog run. Akame wins.

Alucard (Hellsing) vs Cooler

Alucard has some really good regenerative abilities at his disposal, but I don’t think that it will be enough to stop Cooler. Cooler can destroy whole planets on a whim and his speed was so great that he was able to keep up with Goku’s instant transmission. That’s no small feat and Cooler is a lot stronger than he is given credit for. Alucard is simply doomed in this match. Cooler wins.

Olaf (Frozen) vs Larry Appleton

Usually, being able to throw out an attack will automatically make you defeat Larry. This is one of those rare exceptions as Olaf can spin and throw little hits with his nose in Disney Infinity, but it’s not enough to make up for the fact that he’s very weak physically. Larry can just step on him and that’ll be the end of the match. I really don’t see Olaf having a counter for that so it’s game over this time. Larry has finally found an opponent who he can beat! Larry Appleton wins.

Ken vs Roy

Roy is back to take Ken down. Ken may be a decent hand to hand fighter when the chips are down, but there’s no way that he can deal with someone like Roy. Roy’s fire attacks will simply be too much for Ken and he is also a more experienced fighter. Ken’s quick cling to fame is already over and it’s time for him to be knocked down the ranks. At least he shall be remembered. Roy wins.

Larry Appleton vs Ken

Larry Appleton is back and he’s up against a fairly fierce competitor this time. Ken isn’t your average fighter and I dare say that he’s stronger than you may think. He looks like a pretty tough guy and you can certainly count on the fact that his punches will be felt. Larry isn’t usually much of a fighter and he will be overwhelmed here. Ken wins.

Roy vs Link

unnamed (1)
It’s been a long time since I read the Fire Emblem manga with Roy so perhaps I am overrating him a little here, but I feel like he has the edge. His speed is extremely impressive and while Link’s Light Arrows are usually a deciding factor here, I feel like Roy would be able to block them and evade long enough to get close to Link. At that point, I feel like Link wouldn’t be able to keep up with Roy. Roy’s punishing blows would make Link eventually lose his grip on the Master Sword and that’s when it would all be over for him. What Link needs is a true Shounen Jump manga to give him some new speed feats. Until then, Roy wins.

Roy vs Roy (Koopa Kid)

unnamed
Roy is one of the strongest Nintendo swordsman out there and he’s been a blast to play in the Wii U title. His fiery sword swings deal massive damage with each shot and he has aged well from Melee. Roy (Koopa Kid) may have his Clown Car, but he’s seriously outmatched in all areas of combat. He won’t be able to keep up with Roy’s speed and a single strike will take him out of the fight. This is the gap in their abilities! Roy wins.
