Iwanaga may be a genius but sometimes intelligence alone is not enough for you to win a fight. Azalie is a magical genius as well so it’s not like Iwanaga has a big advantage there. Azalie is a better fighter at close range as well as long range so no matter how you slice it, Iwanaga’s doomed here. She would need a massive power up in order to keep this close and that’s likely not happening here. Azalie wins.
Both Shunpei and Tsuna both learned what it meant to harness their inner courage and to fight for what was right. Tsuna just focused more on offense while Shunpei is a more defensive minded fighter. I don’t think Shunpei’s barriers could stop the X burner for long and he would quickly be overwhelmed at that point. The speed difference is also too massive. Tsuna wins.
Fafner is a powerful guardian. He trained his skills so well that he was even known as the most powerful guardian in his village. It’s not an honor to be taken lightly and while Gakuho’s abilities surpass that of any ordinary person, they won’t be enough against Fafner. His blade techniques and ability to withstand heavy punishment will put him ahead here and he won’t be intimidated so easily. Fafner Leorange wins.
Suggested by Ben 11 Akame and Sasuke are both very skilled swordfighters who rely on their speed to dominate their opponents. Akame may even be able to keep up with Sasuke to an extent but that’s really where she will hit her limits as a fighter. Sasuke has many big advantages over her such as his ninjutsu and Sharingan abilities. She would have to fight him while at a big disadvantage since he will continue to grow stronger and more accustomed to her moves as they fight. Ultimately she would fall. Sasuke wins.
Anos is back but he’s definitely not ready to be going up against someone like Bass directly. Bass has powers and abilities beyond what Anos can even dream of. Pure destruction simply isn’t enough to phase him. Bass has the Get Ability program which can reflect damage and he also has speed on a level that’s completely unheard of. It’s hard to see Anos being able to last very long here but at least he’ll finally have met a worthy opponent. Bass wins.
Grimm is a strong fighter who hunts all of her prey relentlessly. She has lasted a while and has a good reputation within her universe but she hasn’t displayed any levels of speed that would allow her to deal with Ruby. Ruby’s an exceptional huntress who has only grown stronger in each volume. One good blast from Ruby’s gun could end this but if not, she could keep speedblitzing until she does win. Ruby Rose wins.
Bodhi may be confident in his abilities but he’s not ready to take on a principal quite like this. Gakuho has single handily transformed the entire educational system and didn’t even need a gun to do it. He would be able to dispatch Bodhi with ease due to the incredible fighting skills he has. The street style of combat Bodhi has just wouldn’t be enough to win and good luck getting the gunshot off in time. Gakuho Asano wins.
Akira Takaoka may have been sent in to take down an octopus type creature but he never showed that he could handle a supernatural creature like that. Otani’s creature isn’t quite as powerful as Koro-sensei but I don’t doubt that it would make quick work out of him. Takaoka’s pure strength isn’t nearly enough for him to take Otani out. None of his attacks would even get past her barriers so that would be game over. Yuri Otani wins.
Vetto may have enough power to cause most opponents to despair but that’s not going to be enough to take Asta down for the count. Asta’s magic is in never giving up and to that end he has accumulated enough power to send Vetto packing. At this point there really isn’t much that Vetto can do against him. He’s just completely outranked in both power and speed. Asta wins.
Iwanaga and Nancy Drew are both detectives but it’s safe to say that Iwanaga usually deals with the more dangerous cases. She is more agile as well and having a robotic leg certainly doesn’t hurt when trying to land a solid blow. If Drew had more formal hand to hand training then she could make this one close but as it stands I don’t see her winning in this battle of detectives. Iwanaga is too formidable. Iwanaga wins.
