Taskmaster vs Yamcha

Taskmaster_USM
Suggested by iKnowledge Taskmaster is a pretty intense Marvel villain who is food at copying his opponent’s fighting styles as well as their strengths and weaknesses. He’s the kind of guy who really doesn’t go down without a fight, but that won’t help against a character like Yamcha who can literally crack planets with a punch. A single blast should take care of Taskmaster for good and no form of hand to hand combat can help to prevent that. Yamcha will finally be able to secure the victory he has been waiting for. Yamcha wins.

Sailor Moon vs Griffith

Femto2
Suggested by iKnowledge Griffith is a powerful foe and someone who should not be underestimated. While he should be particularly susceptible to Sailor Moon’s attacks since they eradicate evil, I don’t think she will be quick enough to hit him. Griffith’s speed is quite legendary and so he is far more likely to strike Sailor Moon first and take the early advantage. It’s always hard to get past a speed advantage. Griffith wins.

Starlight Glimmer vs Cozy Glow

Cozy_Glow_%5C_they_helped_me_study%5C__S8E12
As the MLP show went on the villains gradually got stronger and stronger before peaking with Tirek. Starlight Glimmer was a good successor though and most of the villains after that were pretty strong too. That stopped with Cozy though. She’s easily the weakest villain of them all and I have to say that there’s no way she would get the drop on Starlight. In a proper fight I believe Starlight Glimmer would take the win easily. A quick energy blast spell would certainly do the trick and Cozy doesn’t have any real way of defending herself from an attack like that. Starlight Glimmer wins.

Kaito Daimon vs One Above All

Considering that Kaito wants to challenge the Puzzle of god, it makes sense that he should fight the One Above All. Still, he will be quite disappointed since TOAA just isn’t much of a fighter or a thinker. I’d wager that Kaito is both tougher and smarter than the One Above All. Yes, it is quite the claim, but it’s one that I am confident about sticking with. It just makes a lot of practical sense when you think about it. If the One Above All was really tough I’m sure we would have seen some proof in the comics by now. Kaito Daimon wins.

Gammon Sakanoue vs Cam Jansen

phiep7-1-620x

Staying in the 1-1 spot just isn’t Gammon’s style so it’s time for him to beat another detective. Like Gammon, Cam has a photogenic memory so she is rather tough to stop. Still, she doesn’t have as much practical experience as Gammon so I don’t think she will really be able to properly defend herself here. He has the edge in raw power, talent, and speed. When you’re outmatched in all 3 crucial categories like that then I’m afraid that it’s all over. Gammon Sakanoue wins.

Gammon Sakanoue vs Bass

Gammon has returned, but when up against the awesome power of Bass no amount of resolve is enough. Gammon isn’t the kind of guy who gives up, but he may as well in this case since Bass is just above him. Bass can absorb any projectile or he can reflect them. He moves faster than the eye can see and blowing up planets is child’s play to him. What can Gammon really hope to do against any of that? He’d need some kind of super puzzle to stop Bass. Bass wins.

Gammon Sakanoue vs Nate The Great

Gammon is the next puzzle solver to enter the fray. While he may always be a step behind Kaito, he is still a top level intellect. He’s likely among the top 3 solvers and is also in the top 3 givers. He’s a man of many talents even if he ends up making some rather dicey calls towards the end of the series. Either way it’ll all go over Nate’s head here since he just isn’t ready to solve this level of puzzle. His frozen pancakes will have to wait. Gammon Sakanoue wins.

Kaito Daimon vs Bass

Phi_Brain_Kami_no_Puzzle_Season_3_-_Opening_Destiny_720p

Kaito Daimon had a good run, but there’s no way he can beat Bass. Bass is still at the pinnicle of power. There is no being who is stronger than him and I doubt very much that there ever will be. The amount of power that he has been able to obtain is almost limitless. With a single gesture he can change the landscape around him. Kaito can try to find a way around this puzzle of a fight, but there isn’t any exit. He will just have to accept his fate and lose this round. Bass wins.

Kaito Daimon vs Jigsaw Jones

maxresdefault

It’s time for Kaito Daimon to finally show himself on the blog. He’s definitely a genius who can solve just about any puzzle. Super intelligent characters like that tend to make for pretty solid leads as they’re so rare. It’s nice to see them in the lead spot for once to see the thought process behind their decisions. Jigsaw is very smart in his own right, but he’s just a little outmatched here. He won’t be able to solve the mystery of who’s going to win this match in time. Kaito Daimon wins.

AntiVenom vs Sludge

This is a tribute to the Venom movie. Eddie Brock is labeled on the blog as AntiVenom which is why he gets the tribute. While Eddie wasn’t perfect, I suppose he handled himself better in enough scenes to handle his lower moments. At the very least he is definitely a more likable guy than Sludge. Sludge is one of those characters who screams “One shot villain” when he shows up and also can’t fight too well. Eddie will be able to take him down a peg without even trying. That’s just one of the perks of having a symbiote. AntiVenom wins.
