Zack Taylor makes his debut on the blog with this round and it’s time for him to finish off what Jason started. Raphael won’t be able to overcome Taylor’s hand to hand expertise and Zack also has a Zord at the ready if the worst comes to worst. Koutei is back and now he’s up against Oolong! Oolong may be able to transform into many things, but that won’t be enough to deter Koutei. Koutei is known as the Emperor and that’s because his skills are legendary. I just don’t see how Oolong will be able to overpower him. At this point…Koutei is just too skilled. Koutei wins.

Xana vs Sonic

Xana makes its blog debut in this round, but it’s not coming in for a win. Sonic is known as the fastest thing alive and it’s easy to see why. Once he has the 7 Chaos Emeralds in his grasp; nothing can stop Sonic. He has many different super forms that he has acquired over the years and all of them are pretty impressive. I don’t believe that he will need any of them to take Xana down, but it’s always good to have some extra power in reserve. Sonic wins.

Koutei is back, but I’m sure that nobody is surprised to see Bass knocking him down a peg. Koutei may be skilled, but he is certainly not in the same league as a warrior with Bass’ immense power. Bass has abilities that are almost beyond comprehension and I just don’t see how Koutei can hope to keep up with him. No card at his disposal possesses such power. Bass wins.

Charizard vs Sonic

Charizard may be very powerful, but he won’t be able to keep up with Sonic’s speed. Both of them have similar degrees of power, but I would also give Sonic the edge in that category thanks to Super/Darkspine Sonic. Both of those forms increase his abilities into unimaginable heights and none of Charizard’s attacks would be able to break through. Sonic wins.

Cyber End Dragon vs Groudon

Cyber End Dragon is pretty powerful and his attacks can deal lethal damage in an instant. That being said, Groudon is a lot more maneuverable than the Cyber End Dragon and his attacks are just as deadly. If it came to a straight up beam battle then Cyber End Dragon may have the edge, but Groudon is quicker and that makes all the difference. Groudon wins.

Koutei makes his blog debut with this match and he’s definitely a lot stronger than James Bond. One monster would be enough for Koutei to wipe him out in an instant. Guns just aren’t useful in such a battle and Bond will have to be satisfied with another loss to add to his collection. Koutei wins.

Hunter (Halo) vs Link

This would be a pretty good match. The Hunter is essentially a much weaker version of Samus, but he’s still deadly in combat. One good energy blast would be enough to deal a whole lot of damage to Link. Link will need to perform perfectly with his shield and his Light Arrows will provide him with some cover. It’ll be a tough battle, but Link’s tactical mind and array of weapons should help him secure a victory. Link wins.

Jonathan Joestar vs Bass

Jonathan Joestar secured a nice win in his first battle so he will now have to deal with a loss from Bass. Bass is extremely powerful and his lethal speed ensures that Jonathan will not be able to land a hit on him. Bass also has his Darkness Overload attack, which can keep Jonathan at long range. Jonathan just doesn’t have a chance this time. Bass wins.

Jonathan Joestar makes his debut on the blog and it’s against another character from the Jo Jo franchise. Jotaro is pretty skilled in his own right and those wind abilities of his can be pretty fierce. That being said, Jonathan is physically a lot more capable than Jotaro and his super strength should be enough to deal with Kujo’s stand. Having a healing factor to back him up is another edge for Jonathan. Jonathan Joestar wins.

Update 7/16/2023 I have been convinced that Jonathan would not be able to win this one. Ultimately Jotaro’s stand is a little too powerful and Jonathan’s options would be limited in trying to counter it. Jotaro Kujo wins.
