Brook vs Train

Brook is back, but now he’s up against the legendary gunman! Train has his Railgun and one good shot is all he needs to end this round. Brook is a decent swordsman, but with his speed disadvantage, it just won’t be enough. Train is also better in close range combat and his gun skills are remarkable. Brook just won’t be able to win this round. Train wins.

Villager vs Luigi

Villager Luigi
Villager is a pretty intense guy, but he won’t be able to match up against Luigi! Luigi can shoot fireballs of epic proportions and he can also control lightning. Villager won’t be able to dodge his attacks forever and Luigi will eventually get a solid shot in. Luigi rises up the blog ranks with this win. Luigi wins.

Pagaya vs Bass

Pagaya is back and now he’s up against the mighty Bass! Bass has his Darkness Overload and that can shatter a whole planet in an instant! Pagaya won’t be able to keep up with his speed and one attack would be the end of him. Pagaya may have lost this round, but at least he gave it his all. Bass takes yet another win in this round. Bass wins.

Lazerman vs Firestorm

Lazerman is back once again. Firestorm may be an impressive fighter, but in the end he won’t be able to match up against Lazerman. Lazerman has defeated stronger opponents in the past (Protoman) so defeating Firestorm should be a pretty simple task. Firestorm drops down the ranks with this loss. Lazerman wins.

Pagaya vs Nemo

Pagaya_Anime_Infobox
Pagaya is a pretty tough guy and he should not be underestimated at any cost! His resolve is very steady and he actually lived after being blasted with a blast that could level an entire mountain! This guy is definitely tougher than he looks, but will that be enough to stop Nemo? Nemo is a pretty quick fish and he’s not afraid to throw a punch, but he can’t win. Pagaya wins.

Future Foundation Volume 4 Review

9780785163152_p0_v1_s260x420

The climax of the series is now upon us. Every series has to end at some point and even Future Foundation had to go. There is currently a new FF series which replaced this one, but I think it’s safe to say that we’ll all miss the exiting plots and large scope that this series had. I’m happy to say that I’ve reviewed the series from start to finish, this volume being the final one in the series. This volume isn’t quite as exciting as the others, but since things are finally coming to a close, there is still tension.

The first comic involves The first comic is about Spiderman trying to kick Human Torch out of his house. Human Torch keeps messing up Peter’s life, but arguably he’s not doing it on purpose…arguably! This comic is definitely more of a comedy than an action. It’s pretty fun for the most part, but the party scene was pretty sad and Spiderman’s Spider Sense should have stopped him! I don’t think Spiderman will ever be able to fully forget that part of his life. Someone even enters his house to use the rest room.

Another comic involves Wakanda. So, why did everyone decide to go to Wakanda? Well, maybe they just wanted to have fun! Unfortunately, Franklin is away on business (Training with his future self basically) so the Future Foundation needs to solve this situation without violence. What’s the situation? A group of Wakandian rebels want to beat them up and they may have a Master Plan. They definitely weren’t the most memorable villains out there.

In another comic, the Human Torch takes the group on a field trip. They go to the Negative Zone where Human Torch is currently the King. It’s pretty amazing, but I guess Human Torch is just that powerful. Unfortunately for Johnny Storm, the people want a democracy now. Basically, this means that they will vote for the leader, so Human Torch’s stay as King may be through. The votes come in and the winner may not be who you think!

Finally, we also have a wrap up comic for the Inhumans and the Kree. Franklin helps to fix a dying Sun while they negotiate. Reed Richards talks pretty tough for the comic which is good to see. The Inhumans and kree decide on a truce, but Black Bolt decides to add one extra condition. It’s something that may make him a disliked character for some, but for others, they may just take this in stride. Just like that, the arc/series is over!

The series had a good run. There may not have been that much action in the final collection, but since the series was ending, it’s to be expected. It was a solid series and a pretty fun one as well. Reed Richards could have used a little more screen time, but his few scenes were pretty intense for the most part. There are still a lot of plot lines that are still around, but I guess they’ll be wrapped up in other series. We missed out on several plots in this series as well, but I guess it’s more incentive to buy other Marvel series alongside this one. Overall, I’d recommend this collection, but you’ll probably enjoy it a lot more if you read the previous installments in the series. I also recommend the series as a whole. It may not have been the most action packed adventure, but it was still Fantastic Four right? That’s bound to make things epic!

Overall 6/10

Tournament Smashers Episode 56 Yagura vs Naruto

The 56th episode is now up!

30 minutes had passed since Naruto’s win against Gaara. Naruto was running through the village in the hopes of finding a new opponent. “I’m gonna be Hokage!!!” Naruto yelled as he kept going. Suddenly he felt a powerful aura and looked below him. A kid was there and he noticed Naruto. Suddenly he dissappeared and reappeared behind Naruto. “No way!” Naruto yelled as the kid threw a solid punch that knocked Naruto to the ground.

Naruto threw a kunai at him, but the kid dodged and threw a Demon Wind Shuriken. Naruto entered Sage Mode and he quickly caught the kunai. “Enough of that,” Naruto said as he formed a Rasengan. “Perfect!” The kid said as he formed a water mirror. Naruto’s Rasengan banged the mirror, but the excess energy struck Naruto. “Gak,” Naruto grimaced as he hit the ground. “You can’t win Naruto, I am the legendary Yagura!” Yagura said as a weapon started to form. “What is that!” Naruto yelled as it looked like a staff, but it was uneven. “It will be your downfall,” Yagura said as he jumped after Naruto. “If that hits me, this could be Game Over!” Naruto thought as he jumped in the air to face Yagura.

Yagura readied his staff and Naruto took out a pair of kunai. “Twin Blade Style, Dragon’s Cut!” Naruto yelled as he slashed at Yagura. Yagura blocked the two attacks with his staff and deflected them to the trees. “Not good, I’m wide open!” Naruto yelled as Yagura readied himself. He slashed at Naruto and sent him crashing to the ground. “No,” Naruto said as he bounced off of a water mirror which sent him flying back up towards Yagura. “This ends now!” Yagura said as he thrust his staff at Naruto. Naruto quickly formed a Rasenshuriken and blocked the staff. The energy disintegrated the staff and Yagura quickly jumped backwards. “Not good enough!” Naruto yelled as he threw his Rasenshuriken at Yagura. Yagura quickly formed a Water Mirror which reflected the attack back at Naruto. Naruto quickly rolled out of the way as the Rasenshuriken shattered a mountain behind him.

“You’re not bad Yagura, but I think it’s time to show you what true power is,” Naruto said as he grinned. “What’s that supposed to mean?” Yagura said as he charged at Naruto. “Can I just say one thing?” Naruto asked as Yagura charged at him. “No, just die!” Yagura yelled as he charged at Naruto. Yagura tackled him into a tree. “Who are you?” Yagura yelled as he tried to stab Naruto. Naruto blocked the kunai and pushed Yagura away. “I’m Naruto and I’m gonna be Hokage!” Naruto yelled as he formed a Rasengan. “There’s not enough time to dodge,” Yagura yelled as Naruto charged at him. “RASENGAN!” Naruto yelled as he hit Yagura. “This can’t be happening!” Yagura said as the Rasengan blew up the tree and knocked Yagura to the ground.

“Finish me,” Yagura said as he struggled to get up. “No…besides, I have something that I need to do,” Naruto said as he got up and entered his 9 Tails mode. (His Berserk 9 Tails mode, so not the full transformation, but the one that he used against Haku) Naruto charged towards a castle. “You won’t get away!” he yelled as he stormed in. Meanwhile, Yagura got up. “Naruto Uzumaki eh? A pretty tough guy,” Yagura said as he started to walk away. He felt like someone had been slightly influencing him throughout the fight. Enhancing his abilities and making him seem like more of a villain. Yagura didn’t have time to worry about any of that, he just wanted to go home and have a nice supper.

Konohamaru vs Cortana

Konohamaru_Rasengan
Halo 4 Cortana 2hbkpf (1)
Cortana is a very smart being, but she just won’t be able to overcome Konohamaru’s raw power. Konohamaru has his Rasengan and even a good fire jutsu at his disposal. Cortana just won’t be able to stop Konohamaru or keep up with his speed. Konohamaru’s never shown a lot of potential, but he became powerful off screen. Konohamaru wins.

Soul vs Bass

soul-eater-evans-soul-eater-23641117-800-453
bass01v5tw2317
Soul is pretty skilled and he’s a quick fighter, but he can’t hope to defeat Bass. Bass is the strongest being in all of media and his speed exceeds anything that we can possibly comprehend. Soul won’t be able to block his attacks and dodging is also out of the question. This is what it means, to fight the Ultimate Being! Bass wins.

Brook vs One Above All

One-Above-All_(Multiverse)
brook
The One Above All is back, but I’m afraid that he won’t be able to win this match either. Brook has some decent swordsmanship skills and the One Above All will have a tough time hurting him. Brook has the speed advantage in this round and he would be able to overpower the One Above All. It would appear that his streak is continuing. Brook wins.
