Haruo Sakaki vs Larry Appleton

This is a tribute to the Godzilla anime film. Sakaki was a pretty solid main character. Unlike many characters who strive for vengeance, Sakaki still took the time to think up a good plan of attack in advance. Larry can’t really fight that well so Sakaki would beat him in hand to hand combat and the soldier would also have his gun if necessary. A mere civilian simply can’t hope to take him down. Haruo Sakaki wins.

Rey vs Captain Kirk

This is a tribute to The Last Jedi. Rey has always been a strong heroine and she looked very good in the latest film as well. Her determination will take her far and her Force Abilities make her a threat to any opponent. While Captain Kirk has his phaser set to stun, she can easily deflect the blast with The Force. Kirk won’t be getting anywhere near her. Rey wins.

Roland Deschain vs Larry Appleton

This is a tribute to The Dark Tower. Roland may not have been all that great at his job, but he still looked reasonably good. At the very least, he did a good job of surviving all these years and stopping any threats that impeded his path to vengeance. I don’t think Larry Appleton could have lasted quite as long and I get the feeling that he would have thrown in the towel years ago. He just doesn’t have the strength of will that Roland has and no formal combat experience either. Roland Deschain wins.

Larry Appleton vs Fred

This is a tribute to the Scooby Doo Beach Bash film. Fred is a guy who has been around the block. He has solved more cases than most and is a natural born leader as well. He really stole the show at the bash and I dare say that I expected no less. He can throw a punch when he has to and the guy is rather athletic as well. I think he would have no trouble teaching Larry a thing or two and Fred could even break out the net if necessary. Fred wins.

Shaggy vs Batman

This is a tribute to the recent Batman and Scooby Doo crossover. As per usual I can’t really say that Shaggy looked all that good. He caved in to the pressure and scares that come hand in hand with solving mysteries. While Batman also got nervous at different points in the film, he still came out on top. True heroes will always keep plunging through until they achieve victory. Maybe one day Shaggy will have that epiphany. Batman wins.

Dracula vs Cloud

This is a tribute to Dracula Came Back From The Grave. Definitely another run of the mill Dracula film and as always the main vampire looked bad as well. He just has a habit or tripping and falling onto lethal objects. You never get the impression that he is even remotely on Cloud’s level if we’re being honest here. A single Limit Slash will take Dracula down for the count. Cloud could probably even beat Dracula without his sword, that’s just how good he is. Cloud wins.

Valerian vs Cloud

This is a tribute to Valerian and the 1000 Planet film. Valerian may be known as an expert soldier who carries out his missions, but you wouldn’t know that from watching the movie. He makes a lot of rookie mistakes and nearly bungles the operation. He even gets knocked out and would have died if not for his partner. Cloud is a swordsman who knows how to work solo and he could fight rings around Valerian. Cloud wins.

Jack Frost vs One Above All

This is a tribute to Rise of the Guardians. Jack Frost actually looked really good in this one. Certainly power wise as his Ice Lightning was most impressive. I don’t think that the One Above All is ready to take on such a formidable opponent. He may have some mean dance moves and decent durability but that just isn’t enough to let him hang on in this round. He needs something more in order to take the win and he just doesn’t have that It factor. Jack Frost wins.

Ash vs Goku

This is a tribute to the recent Pokemon movie. Ash didn’t look very good this time around so as you can expect he was due for a loss. Goku is one of the strongest warriors out there and I don’t think many doubt that at this point. With the powers of a Super Saiyan at his disposal, I’m afraid that Ash just doesn’t stand a chance. His army of Pokemon will all fall in line as soon as Goku powers up. Goku wins.

Phantom vs Kirito

This is a tribute to The Phantom. The Phantom does his bit in making the world a safer place but he isn’t very strong. He is basically just a human wearing tights and while he is stronger in the comics, you never see the guy going too far in the long run. He certainly isn’t ready to take down an opponent as skilled as Kirito. Kirito has more sword skills at his disposal than most people’s array of normal skills. His legend will continue to grow with this victory. Kirito wins.
