This is a tribute to Star Trek Beyond. As you may know, I am not a Kirk fan in the slightest. However, he has actually been portrayed well in the last two Star Trek films. He has finally started to prove that he can be a capable Captain when he is not distracted by his other traits. Ned is always on point when it comes to business so he is still the better character…but he has no combat experience. Captain Kirk wins.

This is a tribute to the Frozen special which takes place after the movie. Elsa proves once again that she is a very heroic character who will help others out even if she isn’t feeling well at the moment. Ned Ryerson is a likable character in his own right from Groundhog Day and he really stole the show, but it’s not enough to win this round. His nickname may be Needlenose Ned, but that doesn’t mean that he will be able to pierce through Elsa’s ice abilities. Elsa wins.

Deadshot vs Davis

This is a tribute to Suicide Squad as well as to Digimon Diaboromon Strikes Back. Deadshot definitely isn’t my kind of character and the film can try to make his cause as sympathetic as possible…it’s just not going to work. Meanwhile, Davis looked good in the Digimon film as he raced across town to save the day and kept up his competitive spirit. It’s clear who the better character is here…as well as who the stronger one is. Davis wins.

Tai vs Vegeta

This is a tribute to Digimon Tri. See the picture of Tai above? I’m afraid that he has lost that personality and turned into a shell of himself. Hopefully he reclaims his former glory, but it’ll be tough for Tai fans in the meantime. As a result, he’s going up against the Prince of All Saiyans. If anyone can teach Tai about why fighting is necessary..it’s Vegeta! Vegeta wins.

Jason Bourne vs Nemo

This is a tribute to the latest Jason Bourne film. He is still one of the cooler agents out there and Bourne is an exceptional fighter. At this point, it is hard to see him lose in a fair fight to just about any other human in the series. Future films will have to bring in more super soldiers to take this guy down. I’m afraid that Nemo is no super soldier so he is doomed here. Jason Bourne wins.

John Constantine vs Superman

This is a tribute to the Constantine film. John may have a lot of experience against supernatural threats, but so does the Man of Steel. Magic may have a fairly strong effect on the guy, but Superman can fight at long range as well. With his speed though, Superman doesn’t even need to worry about how he’ll fight John Constantine. One good hit from any distance will end the fight in a snap. John may have a lot of good mystical defenses, but they can only get him so far when he’s battling one of the strongest fighters out there. Superman wins.

Professor X vs Gray (Fairy Tail)

This is a tribute to X-Men Apocalypse. I thought Professor X looked rather terrible the entire time. He certainly does not live up to his title as the strongest telepath out there. I don’t think he would hold sway over Gray as Gray believes in the power of friendship and his bonds with the Fairy Tail group will give him a strong will. He just needs a few good Ice Makes to stop Professor X and the Infinite version should work just fine. Professor X has his Onslaught Form, but I’m afraid that it will only buy him a little time in the long run. The ice will overwhelm and freeze him. Gray (Fairy Tail) wins.

Kaulder vs Maka

This is a tribute to The Last Witch Hunter. Kaulder may do a decent job when it comes to stopping witches in his world, but he wouldn’t last long against the threats that Maka has to deal with. One of her attacks is a real Witch Hunter and one shot would take Kaulder down for the count. Physically, he is still just a normal joe so he wouldn’t be able to keep up with her speed for a single minute. Maka wins.

Batman vs Loser

This is a tribute to Batman V Superman. Loser is easily the best character in Dimension W so it’s a shame that he must start out his blog career with a loss, but that means that things can only get better from here. He has some nice energy gloves which make for powerful attacks and he is quite fast as well. Still, Batman has fought stronger and faster opponents in his day. With all of the power ups that he’s gotten over the years, I don’t see him taking a loss here. Batman wins.

Batman vs Kyouma Mabuchi

This is a tribute to the Lego Injustice League film. Batman was portrayed rather excellently there and he’s always been a great hero. Kyouma Mabuchi is the main character of the obscure Dimension W anime. He prefers to work alone and is a decent hand to hand specialist whose personality is similar to that of Wolverine’s. He is not quite as heroic as Batman due to a tragic past, but that doesn’t take away from his fighting abilities. He’s skilled with the use of ranged needles/spikes. Of course, Batman fights guys with similar gimmicks all the time. He won’t be losing this round. Batman wins.
