Roland Deschain has returned, but his luck won’t be quite as good as it was the first time around. He’ll have his hands full trying to take on Train and I just don’t think he has the skills to pull this off. Train will have his way with Roland rather quickly and his Railgun will completely end the fight. Roland has no defense against it and isn’t fast enough to dodge either. Train wins.

Haruo Sakaki vs Larry Appleton

This is a tribute to the Godzilla anime film. Sakaki was a pretty solid main character. Unlike many characters who strive for vengeance, Sakaki still took the time to think up a good plan of attack in advance. Larry can’t really fight that well so Sakaki would beat him in hand to hand combat and the soldier would also have his gun if necessary. A mere civilian simply can’t hope to take him down. Haruo Sakaki wins.

Rey vs Captain Kirk

This is a tribute to The Last Jedi. Rey has always been a strong heroine and she looked very good in the latest film as well. Her determination will take her far and her Force Abilities make her a threat to any opponent. While Captain Kirk has his phaser set to stun, she can easily deflect the blast with The Force. Kirk won’t be getting anywhere near her. Rey wins.

This is a tribute to The Dark Tower. Roland may not have been all that great at his job, but he still looked reasonably good. At the very least, he did a good job of surviving all these years and stopping any threats that impeded his path to vengeance. I don’t think Larry Appleton could have lasted quite as long and I get the feeling that he would have thrown in the towel years ago. He just doesn’t have the strength of will that Roland has and no formal combat experience either. Roland Deschain wins.

Larry Appleton vs Fred

This is a tribute to the Scooby Doo Beach Bash film. Fred is a guy who has been around the block. He has solved more cases than most and is a natural born leader as well. He really stole the show at the bash and I dare say that I expected no less. He can throw a punch when he has to and the guy is rather athletic as well. I think he would have no trouble teaching Larry a thing or two and Fred could even break out the net if necessary. Fred wins.

Suggested by Random Moka is a talented fighter. She has super strength and speed which is a very potent combo. That being said, it will certainly not be enough to take down Frieza for the simple reason that he is faster and stronger than her. Moka has absolutely no combat advantages in this match up which means that she is completely doomed. Without some kind of X Factor technique, you really can’t beat an opponent who is your superior in all combat stats. Frieza wins.

Haruo Sakaki has finally joined the blog, but this soldier is about to be outgunned right off the bat. Train has the superior tech not to mention that he is a lot faster and stronger than Sakaki. Train has surpassed the limits of the human body and is a master at close quarters combat. Sakaki would be lucky to even block one of Train’s hits before he goes down since he is much slower than this gunman. Train wins.

Ghost Rider vs Bison

Suggested by iKnowledge Ghost Rider is a tough Marvel fighter who has grown to be quite powerful at different points in Marvel history. In his awakened form he was able to go toe to toe against World War Hulk and his chains give him good options for kid range combat. I just don’t think it will be enough to stop Bison. Bison will not have the edge physically but his psychic abilities change the rules of the game. His speed will let him dodge long enough for the hits to connect and they will eventually net him the win. Bison wins.

Shaggy vs Batman

This is a tribute to the recent Batman and Scooby Doo crossover. As per usual I can’t really say that Shaggy looked all that good. He caved in to the pressure and scares that come hand in hand with solving mysteries. While Batman also got nervous at different points in the film, he still came out on top. True heroes will always keep plunging through until they achieve victory. Maybe one day Shaggy will have that epiphany. Batman wins.

Lara Croft vs Norman Bates

Suggested by Destroyer Lara Croft was certainly one of the most popular video game heroines back in the day. While her games have slowed down, she is still very popular and has a new film coming out soon. Norman Bates would stand no chance against her in close quarters combat and she is also more proficient with a gun. Bates is just completely outranked in this battle and he won’t be able to keep up with her. Lara Croft wins.
