Fairy Tail: Happy Adventure

It’s time to look at a Happy spinoff! On one hand this is good news since that should reduce the fanservice in the series. On the other hand this is Fairy Tail so we’ll see if the series can avoid it. It’s off to a decent start at best, but we’ll see if it can stay on course. I’ll have a review for the series once it is finished.

Overall 6/10

Buu vs Byakuya

Byakuya_Kuchiki
Suggested by Destroyer Buu is definitely a very powerful DBZ villain and not someone that you want to mess with. In his Kid Buu form he was even able to go up against Son Goku and Prince Vegeta. That’s not an easy feat for any character. Byakuya may be insanely fast, but at the end of the day he just isn’t quite on the same level. He simply won’t be able to keep up with Buu or even react to his attacks. This Majin is simply on a completely different level. Buu wins.

Ness vs Alakazam

Suggested by Sonic Ness is a tough kid with several PK powers at his disposal. It would likely be tough for Alakazam to manipulate him due to Ness’ own psychic abilities. That being said, Alakazam still has the edge here with his large array of moves. He can use dozens of different Pokemon moves and I’d also argue that he is faster than Ness. That will let him throw out enough moves to keep Ness off balanced and eventually the hits will start to add up. Then that’ll be the end of the fight. Alakazam wins.

Serpico vs Flash (Barry)

Serpico_Anime_AV
Suggested by iKnowledge Serpico is a very quick fighter who is good at fighting multiple opponents. That being said, his speed doesn’t seem to be all that greater than super human. In fact, he seems rather weak compared to many of the other characters in the series. Flash will be able to run rings around him without breaking a sweat. You can’t really compare their levels of speed at the moment. Flash (Barry) wins.

Master Roshi vs Yami Yugi

Suggested by Anonymous While Yami does have the edge in monsters here, I don’t think he will be able to stop Roshi. Roshi has Ultra Instinct now and that will complement his speed to a dangerous level. Yami will have a tough time keeping up with him and even his monsters won’t be able to protect the duelist for long. The Kamehameha waves will leave too much of an impact. Master Roshi wins.

General Blue vs Yami Yugi

Suggested by Anonymous General Blue is a strong fighter and one of the more competent humans in Dragon Ball. He has super strength and speed that is far greater than the average mortal but naturally way below the typical DBZ character’s ability. I think Yami Yugi would be able to summon enough monsters to keep Blue’s speed from being too much of an issue. Blue just wouldn’t be able to hold his own against Yami’s full onslaught of monsters. Yami Yugi wins.

Guts vs Superman

Berserker_Armour_Version_2
Suggested by iKnowledge This is definitely a tough fight. Guts isn’t typically seen as such a high end fighter to be able to deal with Superman like this, but in his armored form his speed increases quite drastically. Superman is a powerful opponent, but I just don’t think he will be able to cope here. It’s a fight that is quite close though and we’ll see if Guts can actually hold onto the lead for very long. Guts wins.

Buu vs Hao

Suggested by Destroyer With Buu recently getting his big intro fight in Super it was time to bring him back into the fold. He is still one of the stronger DBZ characters even if he hasn’t gotten to show his stuff as of late. Hao has a lot of powerful abilities and being one of the Great Spirits gives him a good amount of regenerative abilities as well. Still, none can top Buu in that area and Buu’s raw power is still at a high enough level where he definitely won’t go down easy. Buu wins.

Pokemon Trainer vs Pikachu

Suggested by Sonic The Pokemon Trainer is back and now that she has gotten Charizard back in Ultimate the squad is at full power once more. That being said, I think Pikachu could handle all 3 of her Pokemon. With his speed and type advantage Pikachu would be able to take out Squirtle almost instantly. Charizard will also need to keep his distance and while Ivysaur is a solid fighter, he also isn’t fast enough to keep up. Pikachu is vastly stronger than most Pokemon and only a handful can even hope to keep up with him. He won’t be losing anytime soon. Pikakchu wins.

Casca vs Supergirl

Suggested by iKnowledge It’s time for Casca to make her debut! Unlike Guts and Griffith she doesn’t have a big super form to amp her up, but she is not a fighter who should be underestimated. Casca is quite agile and is talented with the sword. Of course, that isn’t enough to keep up with Supergirl. This DC heroine can easily fly rings around her and end the match with a powerful blast of heat vision. Casca has no real way of defending herself for long. Supergirl wins.
