Lazerman vs Moondark

download (2)
Suggested by Destroyer Lazerman is an incredibly powerful fighter who possesses a great deal of speed and strength. While Moondark is a very accomplished magician, that simply won’t mean much against Lazerman’s overwhelming might. His disruption blast will stop any spells in their tracks and then Lazerman can also regenerate some of his injuries to an extent during the battle. Moondark is simply out of his league here. Lazerman wins.

Dark Samus vs Dark Pit

Suggested by Sonic Both of these dark characters will now be able to fight in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. While Dark Samus is definitely a very dangerous opponent, she simply can’t keep up with Dark Pit’s extensive arsenal of weapons. His Dark Arm Cannon is very strong and he can fly at high speeds. Dark Samus will simply get outmanuevered here. Her defensive capabilities are certainly at a high enough level to protect herself from Dark Pit’s attacks, but she can’t do this forever. Dark Pit wins.

Pikachu vs Little Mac

Suggested by Sonic Little Mac is a strong boxer and he has come a long way. Who would have thought that he would have made the jump from trophy to assist trophy to playable character? The guy certainly has his fans, but at the end of the day he is a little outmatched against Pikachu here. Pikachu has super speed and a very wide range of attack options at his disposal. It will be difficult to Little Mac to land any hits and his defense just isn’t high enough here. Pikachu wins.

Pikachu vs Diddy Kong

Suggested by Sonic Diddy Kong is a tough fighter and rose up up in the tiers for some of the Super Smash Bros games, but he isn’t actually all that powerful when it comes to a 1 on 1 fight. Pikachu easily has the speed advantage here and a few good shots will end the match. The gap in their power is sizable and the same can be said for the difference in speed. No pop gun shots will be able to hit Pikachu and Diddy has no other viable options. Pikachu wins.

Lazerman vs Falco

Suggested by Destroyer Falco is a pretty skilled flyer. His blaster gets results and he has the Landmaster as well as the Arwing on hand. Still, Lazerman is a lot faster than Falco and his energy blasts really pack a punch. Falco won’t be getting up after being hit like that. That’s the gap in their abilities. Lazerman wins.

Sora (Digimon) vs Asta

This is a tribute to the 4th Digimon Tri film. Sora’s dilemma was unfortunately not handled quite as well as some of the others. It’s hard to feel quite as bad for her and maybe that’s because her issue is about getting recognition from someone else. As they said in Madoka Magica, you have to be careful when fighting for someone else because then things get tricky. Asta fights for everyone, but he does it for himself at the end of the day. He can easily speedblitz Sora and her Digimon. Asta wins.

Mimi vs Waluigi

This is a tribute to the 2nd Digimon Tri film. While I wasn’t 100% on Mimi’s side the way I was on TK’s I would say that she did a good job overall. She jumped into battle even while everyone else was running scared. I’d expect to see the same courage from Waluigi, but unfortunately he hasn’t had much to do off the tennis court lately. I fear that his time has basically run out. One good hit from Rosemon would probably take him down for the count. Mimi wins.

TK vs Waluigi

This is a tribute for the third Digimon Tri film! We’re about to have 3 of these in a row so get ready. A common theme in each of the films is that 1-2 of the Digidestined have to make a tough choice and you have to see if you agree with it. Well, TK made the right choice in his as he protected Patamon from his friends. If you have to choose between your best friend and the other friends, the choice should always be clear. I like Waluigi, but his chances of being in Smash prior to DLC are fading fast so he may as well sink down the charts. TK wins.

Swamp Thing vs Batman

st53_009
This is a tribute to both the Swamp Thing film and the 2nd Batman Unlimited title. It ended up working out as a double tribute because Swamp Thing looked pretty bad in his film while Batman was giving people the work in his. Swamp Thing is pretty tough since he works with the Green and has a good amount of super strength. Still, it won’t be enough against Batman and his many gadgets. Once Batman pops on his GL Power Ring then the match is really over. Batman wins.

Buu vs Byakuya

Byakuya_Kuchiki
Suggested by Destroyer Buu is definitely a very powerful DBZ villain and not someone that you want to mess with. In his Kid Buu form he was even able to go up against Son Goku and Prince Vegeta. That’s not an easy feat for any character. Byakuya may be insanely fast, but at the end of the day he just isn’t quite on the same level. He simply won’t be able to keep up with Buu or even react to his attacks. This Majin is simply on a completely different level. Buu wins.
