This is a tribute to the 20 Years Later Halloween movie as well as the second Tiger & Bunny film. This time Myers is back for another loss. Tiger was able to come up with a good plan and learned that sometimes you need to take a back seat in order to claim victory. I thought that was a good lesson and it’s one that doesn’t pop up very often. Myers won’t be doing anything against Tiger here. The gap in their abilities is too great, Myers might as well be a random joe next to someone like Tiger. Tiger wins.

Dr Fate vs Michael Myers

This is a tribute to the Curse of Michael Myers. At the end of the day Myers may take a lot of noncombatants down but he always gets foiled in the end. He may have super strength but he doesn’t use tactics in his fights and won’t win the big ones. Dr Fate should be able to quickly take him down with a few powerful magical blasts. There isn’t a way to get around those and Myers will quickly be out of his depth. He doesn’t have the speed to dodge them. Dr Fate wins.
Rooster Cogburn vs Luke Benson

This is a tribute to True Grit. Rooster Cogburn is a fairly tough sheriff and he gets the job done. Benson isn’t nearly fast enough to counter his shots and doesn’t have as much experience with a gun. No matter how you slice it, Benson is absolutely doomed here. He’s just not ready to tangle with ole Rooster and I don’t think he will be ready for a long time. The gap in their abilities is too extensive. Rooster Cogburn wins.
Samaritan (Mythos) vs Carrie White (King)

This is a tribute to Carrie and Samaritan. Carrie ultimately was not able to stay strong in the end and let her powers rage out. Samaritan is a hero who has to keep his powers under control at all times or innocent people can get hurt. He’s done a good job of that though to the point where most people don’t even know that he is real. He may not be the most powerful hero but he should be able to muscle through her TK abilities and quickly take her down. He has the edge in tactics and experience. Samaritan (Mythos) wins.
Tiger vs Scooby Doo

This is a tribute to both the first Tiger & Bunny film as well as the Scooby Doo crossover with Courage. Usually Shaggy ends up getting these tributes but Scooby got a lot to do with how he was mind controlled/cursed and all. Ultimately he didn’t look good though, I couldn’t believe it when he just ran out without telling the group. That was crazy and it’s hard to get back from that. Tiger may not be the strongest hero but at least he makes the right calls. Tiger wins.
Larry Talbot vs Nemo

This is a tribute to the House of Dracula. You may wonder why Dracula didn’t get the tribute but his role isn’t as big as you would expect and Larry has the benefit of being a reoccurring character who actually has his plot completed here. That goes a long way and he had the most impact so it just made sense. He looked good when it counted and Nemo won’t be doing much of anything against him. The gap is just too big at this point. Larry Talbot wins.
Oliver (Promised Neverland) vs Green Lantern (Stewart)

This is a tribute to Green Lantern: Beware my Power. Green Lantern was able to go with the flow fairly quick and made the most out of his GL Power Ring. Oliver may be a good leader but in the end he won’t be quite strong enough to take GL down. The constructs are just too powerful and versatile to easily be overpowered like that. A gun isn’t going to do anything here. Green Lantern (Stewart) wins.
Cody Travers vs Black Adam

This is a tribute to Black Adam. Cody Travers may be a decent hand to hand fighter but he doesn’t stand a chance against someone with abilities as powerful as Black Adam. Black Adam has the edge in all real categories here and that’s what will make the difference here. Cody will be on the back foot the whole time and won’t even be able to catch his breath. There’s just nothing he can do. Black Adam wins.
Piccolo vs Pikkon

This is a tribute to Dragon Ball: SuperHero. The rivalry and comparisons between Piccolo and Pikkon have always been pretty solid. Pikkon was able to hold his own against Goku at near SSJ2 levels for a while there so the guy is extremely tough and you could make a decent case for him holding his own or maybe having the advantage against Piccolo for a while there. Nowadays the comparisons are fairly one sided as Piccolo will always be the strongest Namekian going forward but he needed to symbolically confirm this with a victory here. Piccolo wins.
Dominic Toretto vs Sakharine

This is a tribute to The Fate of the Furious. Dominic Toretto did look a little tricky here with turning on everybody but ultimately he looked strong the whole time and did come out on top at the end. I don’t think Sakharine is ready to go fist to fist with this guy and if they both get into vehicles, my money’s on Dom. Dominic Toretto wins.
