Mirio vs Jaden

maxresdefault

Mirio is another character who believes that he is a hero until danger strikes. That’s when he shows his true colors and his resolve is definitely quite weak. Jaden could take him down no problem with a few card combos. Jaden’s got a really strong resolve and makes for a great hero. Mirio’s fancy intangibility and mild super strength just won’t be enough to help him out in this fight. Jaden won’t even need his Elemental Heroes to win this round as he has his Neo Spacians and Supreme King powers to see him through. Jaden wins.

Elec Man vs Gemini Spark

Suggested by Blake Elec Man won’t fare much better against Gemini Spark than Elecman. He is still outgunned and simply outmatched against such a dangerous foe. Gemini Spark can beat him in a close quarters fight due to his superior speed and technique. He also has the edge in a long range battle for the same reasons. The only edge Elec Man has is his great use of puns. He can get Gemini Spark to laugh a few times before he goes down. Gemini Spark wins.

Tuxedo Mask vs Godzilla

TuxedoMask
Godzilla - Mar 2014
Suggested by Destroyer Tuxedo Mask has returned, but things are not looking good for him here. Godzilla isn’t called the King of the Monsters for nothing and a single hit is all he would need to take down Tuxedo Mask for good. He won’t even notice Tuxedo Mask’s signature rose as it is trampled beneath him. Lets face it, a mere mortal can’t defeat this Kaiju. Godzilla wins.

Yuya vs Jaden

Yuya and Jaden have been compared a lot and I can certainly see why. Both of them started out as very enthusiastic duelists who just played the game to have a good time. Both of them were then forced to meet their inner darkness when villains took their friends hostage and increased the stakes. Jaden conquered his inner darkness and continues to use it to fight the good fight and Yuya appears to be taking the same path. Yuya has even learned how to fusion summon as he follows in the legendary hero’s footsteps. Yuya’s done a good job, but he’ll never surpass the original fusion master. Still, he’ll put up a good fight and will provide a nice show for the fans. Jaden wins.

Magoroku Shido vs Yuya

Magoroku Shido is back, but he won’t be able to stop Yuya. While Shido has done his best to try and be an intimidating character, I can safely say that Yuya is already a whole lot more intense. His character really picked up during the second half of the first season and has continued on into the 2nd. Shido has a lot of cards, but Yuya’s pack significantly more punch behind them. There’s no getting around his fusion and pendulum monsters. Yuya wins.

Rick Grimes vs Solomon Grundy

Suggested by Jimmy Biscuits Rick Grimes may be a survivor, but his instincts alone won’t be enough to take down someone like Solomon Grundy. Grundy has the massive edge in super strength as well as durability. There really isn’t anything that Rock can do to deal any damage to this guy. Grundy has taken blows from Superman and we know how strong that hero is. The end is nigh for Rick but maybe he can redeem himself in another round. As for Grundy, he will try to keep up the momentum. Solomon Grundy wins.

Joker vs Pikachu

Suggested by Anon The Joker is one of the most popular villains in all of comics. Surprisingly this hasn’t led to a whole lot of power ups, but I guess most people like him for his wit and cunning as opposed to raw power. This means that he won’t stand a chance against good ole Pikachu. Pikachu has incredible super speed and the power within his thunder attacks is legendary. Joker will be lucky to survive even a few hits from this creature. Pikachu is simply out of his league. Pikachu wins.

Manthing vs Hulk

liamhulkmt
Suggested by DarkLK Man Thing is pretty good at manipulating emotions and psyching out his opponents, but that won’t work so well against the Hulk. Hulk has always relied on his brute strength to win the day and it’s all that he will need here. As durable as Man Thing is, it simply won’t be enough to stand up to the Hulk’s punches. Man Thing isn’t nimble enough to try dodging and either way it would only pro long the inevitable since he can’t really hope to injure the green Goliath. Hulk wins.

Magoroku Shido vs Noboru Kodo

unnamed (3)
Suggested by Sonic This is a match with an outcome that you wouldn’t really suspect. Magoroku Shido has lost many duels over and over again in the series and has never shown that he has the same level of skill as Noboru and the others. That being said, the losses worked to his advantage as he has obtained many decks over the seasons to the point where he easily outranks Noboru’s. Noboru has no game changing card like Gao with his best card being the weakest Impact Monster in the series. Shido doesn’t have too many great card either but he has several members from the 100 Demons and his ice type monster also isn’t bad. His array of monsters is just better than Noboru’s and that’ll make up for the difference in human skill. Who’d have thought that his terrible record in the show would actually help him in the end. Magoroku Shido wins.

Indominus Rex vs King Kong

Suggested by JHG Indominus Rex is a pretty powerful dinosaur and I think she could actually have a good chance against some of the previous depictions of King Kong. That being said, his 2017 incarnation even rivals that of his Godzilla version with how large it is. Indominus Rex would simply not be on King Kong’s level anymore and the physical difference in strength would be far too drastic to overcome. I don’t see how she can win this match. King Kong wins.
