Medusa vs Euryale

unnamed (8)
Suggested by Sonic It’s a battle of the myths. Euryale is a strong warrior but one who never really got to show off her abilities. She appears to be reasonably strong though and does have a blade. Medusa can her opponents to Stone with a glance but is rarely immune to the ability so using it is risky here as Medusa can simply reflect it with her shining sword. Medusa’s best tactic is 50-50 at best so I think it stands to reason that Euryale will be too much for her. It’s a close fight that could go either way but the increased range of the blade will give her the edge in the match. Euryale wins.

Master Roshi vs Space Dandy

Suggested by Destroyer Space Dandy is a pretty sad character and one of those guys you can’t possibly root for. Roshi is another one of those guys so this makes for a match where no matter who wins…we lose. Still, the difference in power is considerable as Roshi can blow up the planet with ease. Space Dandy has a nifty gun but it isn’t anywhere near as lethal and he also doesn’t have the speed to keep up with Roshi. He’ll lose as soon as the round starts. Master Roshi wins.

One Above All vs L

Death-Note-L-anime-24594101-465-296
Suggested by Anonymous One Above All is probably one of the most intimidating characters in history. Even his name helps to foreshadow the incredible amount of hype that he brings to the table. Still, it will not be enough to stop L. L may not have seen too much action over the years bit he is a great detective and did take Light to a stand still in fisticuffs. I’d take his practical experience over TOAA’s hype and vague sayings any day. L is just the kind of guy who delivers when it counts. L wins.

Goku vs Esdeath

Suggested by Random Esdeath can control ice with great precision. Fighting her is a chilling experience for the average fighter but Goku is no stranger to the cold. He once took on Android 13 in frigid conditions after all ad still appeared to be able to fight normally Esdeath is strong but the fact of the matter is that Goku is just a lot stronger and faster. He could end the whole star system with a single shot. Goku wins.

Cana vs Yugi

Suggested by iKnowledge Cana is a skilled card user who has even more tricks up her sleeve than Gambit. Whether it be explosives or sleep cards, she is always prepared. That being said, Yugi has dozens of cards at his disposal and they will be enough to build a solid defense around him. Cana’s ultimate trump card is her Fairy Glitter and that should be blocked by Obelisk. Even if the blow manages to defeat him, she won’t be able to use the attack again very easily and the energy used for the attack will leave her vulnerable. Yugi wins.

Hawkgirl vs Bizarro

Suggested by Destroyer Hawkgirl is a tough warrior but her bark is usually much worse than her bite. Bizarro is far more powerful than her so he only really needs one hit. Hawkgirl’s mace likely wouldn’t even deal any real damage to the guy. Bizarro is just a little too sturdy and we haven’t even begun to discuss his super speed yet which makes this even more one sided. Bizarro wins.

Jin Magatsu vs Noboru Kodo

unnamed (7)
Suggested by Sonic Noboru is a tough kid but I think this is another match that he just can’t win. Jin has his powerful Shadow OmniLord at the ready and his deck was already comparable to Noboru’s. With that extra home run hitter it is safe to say that he takes a decisive edge in the fight. Noboru’s impressive hand to hand skills will not be enough to counter such an advantage and we can blame his deck’s weakness in the fact that he may have the worst buddy out of all the main characters. Jin Magatsu wins.

Clayface vs Cell

Suggested by Anonymous Clayface may not be the flashiest Batman villain on the block but his powers are actually quite lethal. I would consider him to be one of the Dark Knight’s toughest foes even if his intellect isn’t particularly high. Still, there isn’t much he can do about blowing up the planet. Cell is simply too fast and frankly, Cell is too powerful as well. There is nothing Clayface can do. Cell wins.

Goku vs Monaka

dragon-ball-super-monaka-vs-goku
Monaka may be known as the world’s strongest warrior but his abilities are highly overrated. Goku was able to land a surprise blow on him after all and that was without even going Super Saiyan. I predict the battle will be over in mere moments. One Kamehameha or energy punch will suffice. Maybe Monaka will realize his true power some day, but I wouldn’t count on it. Goku wins.

Barristan Selmy vs Ujio

Suggested by JHG195 This is a double debut as both of these fighters are battling for the first time. Barristan Selmy is a skilled swordsman who has defeated foes much younger than him. His age is still worth noting though. Ujio is another tough swordsman and was always known as a foe to be feared on the battlefield. It’s a pretty close fight and naturally one decisive strike would be enough for either fighter. At the end of the day I’d consider Ujio to be a little faster than Barristan and that should prove to be the difference between them. Ujio wins.
