Sena Arata vs Hitomi Kanzaki

It’s time for a double debut! Sena Arata was a pretty great LBX main character and he was always ready for a fight. He never backed down and never surrendered. Unfortunately, I cannot say that Hitomi is a great character. She was a polar opposite to Sena as she always made the wrong choice without fail. The only thing you could count on her to do was make the situation worse for everyone else. She also can’t fight while Sena has an extremely powerful robot on his side so this won’t be all that close. Sena Arata wins.

Mole Man (Escaflowne) vs Bass

With this post, the blog has finally reached 16000 posts! It’s quite the milestone and I could think of no more fitting way than to have the Mole Man show up. He was always a very sad character and I never really understood what the point of his character was. He certainly never became likable in the slightest so having him face Bass was fun. The Mole Man can’t really fight so he stood no chance against someone as insanely powerful as Bass! Bass wins.

Devil Girl vs Ai Enma

Devil Girl makes her debut onto the blog with this round. I had the inspiration to quickly do this match when I happened to catch sight of the dvd. At the very least, I think this was the DVD, it may have been a similarly titles horror film since there are so many of them. Ai Enma is more commonly known as Hell Girl and she still has the edge in this fight. She has control over fire and can fire large energy blasts. Not to mention the fact that illusions do not affect her. Devil Girl has some mild super strength, but that’s not going to get her very far against Ai Enma. The tables have turned and it’s time for her to start exorcising these horror movie monsters! Ai Enma wins.

Vash The Stampede vs Kino

Gun
WolfwoodVash
Kino makes her debut here. She did her best to try and answer life’s tough questions with her emotionless, noncommittal, vague answers, but it never worked out. She could have learned a thing or two from Vash. He had to make a lot of tough calls himself, but he always found the right way to proceed. He didn’t wave from one side to the other like Kino and he certainly wouldn’t have hunted animals just to survive. Vash values life quite a lot and it’s the main reason why he ended up being a good character by the end despite not being so good during the start of the series. His character development destroys Kino’s and it is worth mentioning that he is a better fighter as well. Kino’s a good gun fighter, but Vash is far superior and also has superhuman abilities to help him out as well. Vash The Stampede wins.

Drum Bunker Dragon vs Fighting Dragon Demongodol

unnamed
Suggested by Sonic Fighting Dragon Demongodol is a fairly powerful monster. His physical strength is very impressive and many attacks won’t be able to damage him. That being said, Drum Bunker Dragon is one of the chosen ones and he received an ultimate Burning Form which greatly amped up his attack power and speed. He will be able to hurt Fighting Dragon Demongodol and that gets rid of one of Demongodol’s biggest advantages. It gets to the point where Drum outranks him in just about every area. That always results in a Game Over. Drum Bunker Dragon wins.

Howl vs Dr Strange

Howl
Dr_Strange
Suggested by IKnowledge Howl is a fairly skilled magician who can shapeshift into a bird and knows a lot of tricks. However, he will have a hard time landing any actual damage on Strange. Strange has many magical shields and defenses to protect him from any spell and his attack spells can damage foes like the Hulk. Being the Sorcerer Supreme has helped Strange unlock many levels of power and at this point, he is certainly one of the stronger magicians. I just don’t think Howl will be able to compete here. Dr Strange wins.

Annie Leonhart vs Mikasa

Annie_vs_Mikasa
Suggested by Eric Annie Leonhart and Mikasa are both fairly adept at hand to hand combat and are fairly evenly matched. In a pure fist fight, I’d give Mikasa the edge though. What helps give Annie an edge is the fact that she has her Titan Mode abilities. Mikasa has been shown to take down Titans before, but Annie has the clear advantage with her hardening ability and the fact that she doesn’t lose her combat prowess. She will simply have too many abilities for a human, even one as skilled as Mikasa, to defeat. Annie Leonhart wins.

Frieza vs Ichigo

Ep365IchigoThirdBankai
Requested by Destroyer For a long time this was actually a fight that I had to spend some reasonable thought on. Frieza’s an early DBZ villain so it’s easy to forget just how strong he is, but it’s also due to the fact that Ichigo is just quite impressive on his own as well. However, Gold Frieza makes this a rather large blowout. This form really gave him a huge boost in speed and power to the point where he is in a whole new league. Ichigo simply can’t catch Frieza now and I don’t believe his attacks would cause that much damage either. Frieza wins.

Dracula vs Cell

Suggested by Anon Cell is back and it’s time for another easy win. Dracula may have some mild strength and speed enhancements, but they really won’t do him a whole lot of good here. Cell still outclasses him in every possible way. This fight will end up being very one sided since Cell can simply destroy the whole solar system. That’d be a nice and easy way of defeating Dracula without even putting himself at risk. Of course, how risky is any action when you can regenerate half your body being blown up? Cell wins.

Ageha vs Bass

Ageha has returned, but he has met his match here. Bass is simply too powerful and no attack at Ageha’s disposal will be enough to stop him. Bass can outspeed this guy for days and his barriers will be enough to stop all attacks. That’s why Bass is at the top of the rankings, there simply aren’t any fighters who can hope to stop him. Bass wins.
