Esdeath is a powerful fighter whose close combat abilities should not be underestimated…but she’s up against Frieza. That basically means game over in an instant because Frieza has his new Golden form, which allows him to defeat just about any foe out there. He held his own against Goku, which is no small feat. The days when he could be casually dismissed are over. Frieza wins.

Elsa vs Ike

Are you familiar with the chant “We Like Ike!?” Well, it’s a pretty epic one that plays whenever Ike is doing well in Super Smash Bros. That’s why you will hear it pretty often as his punishing fire attacks will really take Elsa down a few pegs. Elsa has some good ice magic at her disposal, but I’ve always believed that a good fire attack can easily overpower a good ice blast. Fire is still the strongest element out there and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. It’s simply too awesome! Ike wins.

Cyclops vs Flash (Barry)

Originally, I never thought of The Flash as a very powerful character. I liked his super speed, but just felt that it was not enough. It would be several years until I finally accepted him as a heavyweight contender. His speed is immensely impressive to the point that he makes Cyclops (Phoenix Mode) look slow. Cyclops has the massive edge in firepower, but the Flash is no slouch with his speed infused punches and Blue Lantern abilities. Fights like this one can be quite tough as it is a battle of extreme speed vs power. That being said, the flight is really what wins Flash the match. Flash (Barry) wins.

Black Doom vs Green Lantern (Stewart)

Black Doom was one of the fiercest Sonic villains who ever appeared, but that could have been due to the fact that he was really a Shadow villain. His darkness abilities were certainly impressive, but what hurts him is his lack of speed. GL is likely faster and his constructs would quickly weak Black Doom. Stewart wins in a battle of endurance and his Willpower shall not falter. After all, he does have his military experience to fall back on! Green Lantern (Stewart) wins.

Robin (Fire Emblem) vs Roy

Roy takes this round due to his amazingly high levels of speed. Robin has a lot of good projectiles, but the fire won’t bother Roy all that much and he can just dodge the lightning bolts. Robin is doomed once this battle becomes a close combat fight and that’s Roy’s specialty. He’ll use his speed to overwhelm Robin and I’d say that Roy is still the strongest Fire Emblem protagonist. Roy wins.

Kiva vs L

L is another great detective to face off against Kiva, but he doesn’t have any superhuman abilities that will let him keep up with Kiva’s speed. As it stands, a single blow from Kiva would end the fight here as L simply could not survive that amount of destructive force. L will be sure to make a lot of deductions during the fight, but those insights will not be enough to grant him the win. Kiva wins.

Lucas vs Falco

Lucas has a great array of attacks at his disposal and they should be able to deal a lot of damage to Falco if they connect. Falco’s reflector will force Lucas to hesitate a little though and his Landmaster plus Arwing combo will make things very difficult on Lucas. I don’t believe that he will be fast enough to clutch out this victory and Falco will have the slight advantage. Falco wins.

Naruto vs Mega Man

While this may look like a blow out on paper, I would advise you not to underestimate Mega Man’s abilities. In the manga version of his games, the Blue Bomber’s speed and strength were greatly augmented. Not to the point where they can beat Naruto in his Chakra Mode or any of his final forms, but Mega Man could definitely make this a fight. Naruto’s Rasengan variations will still prove to be too much for Mega Man though and the robot probably couldn’t copy the chakra attacks as his body likely does not possess it. Naruto wins.

Ridley (Alien Hunter) vs Ridley

Ridley (Alien Hunter) is back, but this could end up getting a little dicey for her. She’s always wanted to take down aliens, but meeting a real one will prove to be a lot trickier than she could have imagined. Ridley can fly at extremely fast speeds and his powerful fireballs can easily go through her armor and take her down for the count. He’s dealt with tougher hunters in the past. Ridley wins.

Kiva vs Light

Light is a great tactical fighter who is always ready to make the winning play, but he’s not much of a
fighter and you can’t win a battle with brains alone. Kiva has raw power and speed, which makes for a deadly combo at his disposal. Light doesn’t have a chance at overtaking him in this battle and the gap in their abilities is too great. A single energy shot from Kiva will end this battle, but at least Light can have a final laugh before it hits him. Light always went out in a grand way. Kiva wins.
