Steppenwolf vs Thor

Suggested by Big Red Steppenwolf is a powerful fighter. He may have been treated as a joke in the old cartoons and comics, he has finally been shown to be a very strong antagonist in the New 52 and in the recent Justice League movie. He has bested powerful opponents like Superman and Wonder Woman in the past (Albeit it with cheap shots) and has enough strength and speed to dispatch most heroes in an instant. However, Thor isn’t like most heroes and has enough power and speed to keep up. At his best Thor may even be faster than Steppenwolf and his hammer will give him the range advantage when trading blows. It’ll be a tough fight, but Thor should be able to snag the win here with his wider arrange of attack options and his edge in stamina. Thor wins.

Phantom vs Kirito

This is a tribute to The Phantom. The Phantom does his bit in making the world a safer place but he isn’t very strong. He is basically just a human wearing tights and while he is stronger in the comics, you never see the guy going too far in the long run. He certainly isn’t ready to take down an opponent as skilled as Kirito. Kirito has more sword skills at his disposal than most people’s array of normal skills. His legend will continue to grow with this victory. Kirito wins.

Daniel Larusso vs Mama Bear

Suggested by Destroyer Daniel is the legendary Karate Kid and he knows some pretty good hand to hand skills as a result. He is not the kind of opponent that you can take lightly. Mama Bear is a bear so that works to her favor but she isn’t much of a fighter and doesn’t have the reaction times that she may have once possessed. It is a reasonably close fight since Daniel isn’t fully grown yet, but I do think he is old enough to deal enough damage to claim victory. Daniel Larusso wins.

Shosetsu Kirisame vs Armorknight Cerberus

unnamed (5)
Suggested by Sonic Kirisame is a skilled sword user who basically stopped appearing since the 2nd season but shows up once in a while to have some fun. This has hurt him in regards to getting new cards but the ones that he already has are pretty good. I doubt any are a match for Cerberus but how about if they all team up in him? Cerberus is strong but I think at that point they would be able to overpower him. Especially since Kirisama will be in there as support with his own skills and magic shields. Shosetsu Kirisama wins.

John Marston vs Sonic

Johnmarstonwikiinfobox

Suggested by Anonymous John Marston is one of those guys who wouldn’t last long if you put him in a strong universe. The guy is effectively just an ordinary guy now with a gun. That’s still not bad depending on your opponent but it won’t help him last long against Sonic. Sonic can out run all of the bullets and take John out in a second. John isn’t ready to handle an all out barrage of attacks. Sonic wins.

Ancient Pistol vs Mercutio

Suggested by iKnowledge Mercutio is always ready for a fight despite being a practical jokester. He’s clearly practiced in secret while Ancient Pistol is afraid to get into action. He avoids it whenever possible so I have to assume that he’s just not very good. Mercutio should have no problem slicing him into defeat. There just isn’t room for two swordsmen in this ring so someone has to take the fall. Mercutio wins.

Gate vs Guts Man

Gate
Suggested by Blake Guts Man is fairly powerful and has always been an iconic character in the classic Mega Man universe. That being said, as one of the first ever bosses in the series it makes sense that he can’t hold up against the newer ones. Gate is much faster than Guts Man ever was and his attack power is certainly high enough to pierce Guts Man’s defenses. Guts Man just won’t be able to last very long against a final boss level opponent like Gate. Gate wins.

Toph vs Gaara

Suggested by Eric Toph is pretty good at manipulating the sand and the ground around him. He’s an adept fighter who only got better as the series progressed while Gaara’s abilities stalled once Shippuden hit. Still, he had enough power by that point where I would still give him the edge. His lack of mobility is concerning but with how fast the sand moves and how much of it Gaara can control, he should be okay. He also did get quite a bit faster in his partially merged Tailed Beast state so that helps a lot as well. He is still the sand master. Gaara wins.

Batman vs Swagman

Swagman_from_Brave_and_Bold
This is a tribute to the new Justice League film. At the end of the day, Batman was critical in saving the world and keeping everyone in line so naturally a win is in order. Batman always manages to be a pretty tough combatant while also having a lot of swab so this seemed like a perfect match. Swagman has fought on the blog before, but he got stomped rather easily. This round won’t be any different so you almost feel bad for the guy. Swagman still has a cool name, but he’ll need some actual abilities if he ever wants to take down a more powerful foe. Having a cool helmet just isn’t good enough. Batman wins.

Vegeta vs Jiren

maxresdefault (5)
Suggested by Random Jiren is one of the strongest foes we’ve seen in all of Dragon Ball. His skills should not be underestimated. That being said, Vegeta is a proud Saiyan warrior and he would wipe away Jiren’s confident smirk in an instant. Jiren will have to get serious to fight Vegeta and even then I don’t think it will be enough to win. Vegeta does have the power of a Super Saiyan at his disposal after all. He will keep transforming until he wins and will accelerate past his limits! Vegeta wins.
